I’ve worked with Elaine DiCocco to sell my mom’s house in June 2021 and I can’t recommend her enough! She was always there for every question we had to help my mom and my family when going to this process. My mom hadn’t moved for 20 years so she had collected a lot in her house and my dad had just passed away in January of 2021 so we needed a lot of guidance. Elaine was able to make so many great suggestions and low budget recommendations that helped us prep and plan to sell my mom’s house which sold in just one weekend! The house sold for much more than expected too. We were so excited and delightfully surprised having sold the house for so much more than what the neighbors houses were sold for. Having Elaine especially helped with making suggestions on how and what we needed to clear out and declutter in order to give the house the most appeal to potential buyers. Having my mom hear the advice from Elaine, a professional opinion, made it much easier than hearing it from me or another family member. Elaine even helped us stage the backyard by letting us borrow a three piece chairs and table set which I’m sure helped buyers see the backyard relaxation potential. We met Elaine at an open house and were immediately charmed by her warm personality and obvious knowledge of the local market. We worked with her in a more traditional way for several months, going to viewings and discussing our various options in this difficult housing market, during which we could always feel her genuine interest in helping us find our dream home. Not to be beat, Elaine asked around everywhere she went for us and eventually found us a home that was being flipped by a builder that we could potentially get without competing offers. Despite this being WAY more work for her and a much longer timeline (almost a year of working with us), Elaine fought for us to get the home, which was a perfect match for what we were looking for, and then spent months working with the builder on our behalf to ensure everything was getting done according to plan. I have never met someone so relentlessly optimistic, hardworking, genuine and caring. She even bought my daughter a present at closing to congratulate her on her new baby brother. We had been living in our house for 29 years and raised our children there, so moving was a scary and emotional thing for us. Elaine was very reassuring with her wealth of knowledge and calm demeanor. She was available for us at all times and responded right away to any questions or concerns we had. Once we narrowed down what we were looking for, she helped us find the perfect house for us. She also got us a great price for our old house! I would recommend Elaine to anyone who is looking to buy/sell, especially if you are new to the process need a little bit of extra reassurance.

Working with Elaine was truly wonderful. We were stuck in Costa Rica because of Covid-19 but Elaine did all of the work to enable us to complete the transaction remotely including the notarization of all of the settlement documents. Elaine also arranged for contractors to repair things in the house and others to replace the sections of the broken concrete sidewalk and perform the sewer lateral inspection. All went smoothly and the settlement was completed on time.
